Four proposed routes in the historic center of Catania to learn about the history and culture of the city. Planned departure every hour from 10.00 to 17.00, along with guides of the Regional Guide Sicily. Guided tours in Italian and English for foreign tourists .
Among the places the two beautiful jewels of the ancient Catania recounted in great detail: the Roman Baths della Rotonda (via opening of Mecca from 9.00 to 13.30), the complex of the ancient theater, pond dell’Amenano, Odeon and Antiques Home and Pandolfo House Liberti (via Vittorio Emanuele II , 266 open from 9.00 to 17.00) .
Starting from 10.00 are provided free guided tours every hour until 17:00.
Tour 1:
Piazza Duomo and Castello Ursino. Place of meeting hall of the palace elephants.
Tour 2:
Piazza Dante, Crociferi, University Square. Place of meeting entrance of St. Nicholas.
Tour 3:
Roman Theatre, Odeon, Terme della Rotonda. Meeting place of the Roman Theatre entrance via Vitt. Emanuele 262 .
Tour 4:
Diocesan Museum. Meeting Place entrance to the museum.
The visits, free of charge, does not include any entrance fee to monuments and museums in the itineraries provided.
The entrance to the Terme della Rotonda is free.
Entrance to the ancient theater is a fee:
Full ticket Euro 6,00.
Reduced ticket 3,00 Euro.
Residents in the province of Catania Euro 1.00.
Up to 18 and over 65 free.
