A dialogue with nature and the Sicilian art to highlight abuse and neglect

Starting from Etna , ‘a muntagna, which, with its constant plume of smoke and rhythmic explosions of lava, is the most authentic expression of the energy that gives life to our planet, our life.
And ‘ the theme of the autobiography “Daughter of the great mother ” (Ed. Liguori , Naples, 2013) Vera Greek which will be presented in Catania, Thursday, January 23 (17 pm) , at the Palace of Culture. Together with the author and the editor editorial, Sergio Reyes, attended by Professor . Rosario Castelli, a professor of Film, Photography and Television at the University of Catania and the poet Angelo Scandurra. During the presentation will be projected spectacular images of Etna produced by journalist and photographer Turi Caggegi that will make then visited an exhibition at the Palace of Culture until 7 February.
Architect, current director of the Regional Museum of Ceramics of Caltagirone and former Superintendent of Cultural and Environmental Heritage in Ragusa and Catania, Vera Greek pastry in this volume, one after the other, the chapters of his private and professional life, creating a dialogue imaginary with the landscape and its elements to indentificarsi in them . The book is included in the series “For Passion” directed by Sergio Reyes writer and publisher dedicated to Liguori of contemporary men and women, committed precisely with “passion” in their professional adventures.
At the presentation of the book – sponsored by the Etna Park and the Forum of Culture and Environment Catanese – was accompanied by a photo exhibition of Turi Caggegi dedicated to Etna , the volcano was added by UNESCO in June between the World Heritage property. Journalist and photographer, Caggegi has created an App, iEtna to discover and share with the community images and real-time information on what it calls “the world’s most beautiful volcano .”
